His eyes while sleeping

I haven't updated in a while. Danny is now almost 6. We were original told he'd have his next surgery before kindergarten but the last time we went to the ophthalmologist he said it wasn't affecting his vision yet so we decided to wait.

I didn't realize it had been so long since I've updated! We moved to Arizona a couple years ago and part of the reason we put off the surgery is because I don't know about a surgeon here and I really liked the results with our surgeon in Utah and I trust him. I'm considering traveling back there for the surgery but haven't decided yet.

I get a lot of questions about his eye when he sleeps so here is a picture. He's never had any dry eye or vision issues.

29 year old male and about to get frontalis sling procedure for my congential ptosis done this Friday. Never got one done before.

I'm still scared but your blog really helped bring some visibility to the after effects. Thanks!

Thank you for your posts. My four year old daughter had a sling put in a few days ago. Reading your blog prepared me for expectations post surgery. I can't tell you enough how much I appreciate it.

Hi
I am a 35 year old woman born with ptosis.I've had 2 surgeries so far.my eyes look even when awake but the ptosis eye has the wide eye look when asleep.Over the years i dont even think much about it except sometimes in pics i wish there could be more advanced surgeries where the ptosis eye could open and shut like the normal eye.Thankyou for sharing your son's story.

@anonymous-the video in the latest post shows him blinking. It doesn't show up on my iPad so if you can't see it try a desktop computer.
